Vacation Vibe at Home: Tropical Living

Imagine stepping through your front door and instantly being transported to a tropical paradise, where lush foliage and the visual of exotic woods surround you. This vision inspired one family to transform their home into a personal retreat where every moment feels like a vacation.

At the heart of their endeavor was a desire for more than just a living space; they craved a transformative experience—a sanctuary where stress melts away and tranquility is the moment’s call. To achieve this, we embarked on a journey to infuse their home with tropical elements and open spaces, igniting a passion for creating their paradise.

Central to the design is a front-to-back open-air lanai. A custom-carved wood screen, crafted to provide a sense of privacy and connection, serves as an elegant divider and portal to the exterior passage—a space where time seems to slow and worries fade into the background.

In addition to the intricate woodwork, a series of glass doors beneath the lanai were installed, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. This integration allowed the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape and existing Fig tree to permeate the home, further enhancing the sense of escape and relaxation, providing a serene haven from the outside world.

The result? A house where every corner exudes the essence of a tropical getaway. Whether lounging in the living room or enjoying a meal in the dining area, the homeowners are enveloped in tranquility and renewal.
